Why can't I renew my eBook/eAudiobook in Overdrive?

You might be unable to renew your book in Overdrive for a few reasons:
- Someone has the book on hold. Instead of a "Renew" button, you will see a button to "Place Hold." This means you will have to wait to check out the book again, but you will be added to the waitlist for it.
- It is too early to renew the book. You will be able to renew a book a few days before it is due. Overdrive will tell you how much longer you need to wait to renew.
